.. where Ikea attends a sweep day (again)

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!
oh, i promised to tell u about the running marathon! well, it seems to me we had some technical problems.. i will tell u later! i need to go and find a way to find some fotografs first!! until then, there was another event last weekend – “let’s do it” day!
pretty much like last year it just so happened that i happened to attend a sweep-day! this time in south-Estonia, jei!

well, i have to say, i don’t have too many fotografs this time. i was working, u know. we giraffes like to work just occasionally. on occasion in other words. meaning sometimes, i think. so, this time i was mostly working. except that one time when we found some really really nice blue flowers – the Hepaticas! hehe, very nice. i think these hepaticas will easily make my top 20 best (non-edible) flowers list. well, perhaps even together with edible ones in fact. other than that, we had lots of fun sweeping! oh PS. there was this other time when i was not working. then i found snow! in May!
what about u, did you do any sweeping or spring cleaning this year? or maybe found some fun snow? let me know! have fun and cu l8r!

.. where a new girl moves in with Ikea

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

guess what happened! like my friend Sipsik said some time ago (she said we may have another friend moving in with us soon) we have now another gr8 friend living with us, in Kadriorg! that’s great news! also, the second best news is that our new friend is a girl! She is a dog and her name is Lotte!

so, we right away we gathered around Lotte to ask some most important questions. u know like – what is your name (Lotte), where are you from (Gadgetville), what is your favorite color (red) and what is your favorite fun thing to do (to invent) and many other very very important questions. but maybe Lotte will blog about her some other time in the future, right now i will leave the other answers a secret, hehe! oh, but did u know, she is actually a movie star!!
so, apparently, Lotte especially likes to invent stuff and she is really smart! that means she is very good at some fun things that we did not know were fun. like for example, Lotte found a Rubik’s Cube that the Teddies had messed up. in fact, it was so messed up that we contemplated taking apart all the color stickers and putting them back together so it would be ok. there was also another alternative put forward by Saab – to eat it. luckily we choose to eat ice-cream instead. as it turns out, even the Teddies cannot mess the cube up so badly that Lotte cannot put it back in the order!! (we tried three times, in fact. we even used the help of my friend Sipsik, she is also very good at messing it up, u know!) so, here’s Lotte teaching me the tricks of the Cube:

apparently, it is very much fun! it seems to me that if i practice alot, i could even get one side together. it will probably be the orange side then, it’s my favorite!
actually there are lots of fun things Lotte knows about, in fact i need to go now because Lotte promised to teach us a little about Judo. i know nothing about it, but it sounds like fun. do you know about Judo? let me know! in the meatime, i will try to go and see if i can go and participate in the running marathon this year! we’ll see. have fun and cu l8r!

.. where Ikea goes Easter Egg hunting (modern style)

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!
i don’t know about u, but seems like the Easter is somewhat big event around here. Especially recently, lots of people seem to do lots of fun stuff around Easter (almost like they do around Christmas or Halloween or Valentines’). so, lots of fun. and one of the recent big fun events is to hunt for stuff (eggs). we in Kadriorg, we are lots into all hunting around here. (i especially like to hunt for strawberries or ice-cream, as u may know)
so, as soon as i heard about this egg hunting thing, it seemed like something fun to do. so, let me tell u about it – hunting for Easter Eggs Angry Birds (modern) style! hehe! the great thing about this is that u can do it everywhere (+1), u don’t need real eggs (+2), which may break (my friend Angel broke a box of eggs once and Sipsik had to lock him up in the washing machine for two days, since he was getting all stinky) and also, u don’t have to hide them first, they are already hidden for you (+3)! and the gr8 thing about it is that i already had it in my phone, jei!

i guess there are two things that i found out about this fun Egg Hunt in Angry Birds Seasons game. well, in fact it’s one thing: there are two ways to hunt Eggs! the first one is to spot all the eggs on any level. like on this fotograf of me playing, check out the coloured eggs in the middle and on the ground! so, all u need to do, is to smash some angry birds into them to collect! wohoo! so this was how it looked pretty much in the beginning. and this:

is how it looked in the end!! see those coloured numbers? these are the eggs after collection, hehe! so, that’s the first way to collect eggs. there are LOTS in every level (which there are about 18 or so, but im not so gr8 with numbers, i must warn)
but, there is also another way to collect and that’s even more fun! because, in some levels, there are HIDDEN eggs! it is quite mysterious thing actually, because they can be anywhere. although right now i already have found them all, but still, gr8 fun! like one of the eggs was inside green grass. how silly to be hiding from a giraffe in grass, hehe! i found it right away!

but some of them are more tricky. and then, if u want to get the GR8 BIG EGG, u have to finish all levels with 3 stars, like me:

and then, u have ALL THE EGGS!

it’s lots of fun, this Egg Hunting! Highly recommended fun by a giraffe, like me, Ikea! well, in fact i have to go now and play the eggs too (did u know that they are actually bonus levels? – well, they are!! – bonus fun!) but in the meantime, please let me know if u did any Easter Egg Hunting this weekend? did u find real eggs or whose eggs were they? let me know in comments! have fun and cu l8r!
