.. where Ikea is making rabbits!

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea! Merry Christmas!

it seems to me it is xmas time! and that only means one thing – Christmas Cookies, jei! This time, it is – of course – rabbits! Because, u know, it’s the favorite animal of my friend, Pipi. Just after giraffes, hehe!

So, making xmas cookies is really really easy. U need pretty much the same things as what u would need for making giraffes. And then, u need the rabbit cookie-cutter! Here’s how it looks like with a few rabbits cut out:

Did u find the rabbit with one ear? It’s because Saab ate one ear!! Here’s some more rabbits, baked:

Can u find the on-eared rabbit here too? What about two ducks? hehe, it’s like puzzle, don’t u think?! Well, here’s a little puzzle for u:

Find:
– a rabbit with one ear
– a rabbit without ears
– two ducks
– a rabbit with a banjo
– a rabbit with square sunglasses
– a rabbit with a Peace sign
– a rabbit with a big S
– a rabbit with a beard
– a rabbit with one eye
– a rabbit with three eyes
– a rabbit with bmw sign
– a rabbit from Star Trek
– a bee-looking rabbit
– a rabbit with swimming trunks and suspenders
– a rabbit with Hedgehog from Pesakond

u can also find others, if u want. as u can see, there are lots of small hearts too on this fotograf. my friend Lotte made those. Can u tell, how many are there?
and look, what i also found – the Moomins!

apparently, my friend Sipsik had baked some as I was away taking fotografs of rabbits, hehe! also, i can tell u a secret – my friends Sipsik and Lotte and me, we put the Moomins and the rabbits in little Christmas packages for our other friends! Luckily, we had some rabbits left over too, look:

As u can see, making rabbits is gr8 fun! It seems to me that making rabbits is almost as fun as making giraffes. Or any other Christmas cookies really! Also, the gr8 news is that now we can eat them! The Teddies will especially like this part, hehe. Did u make any Christmas cookies this year? Let me know!

Have fun and Merry Christmas!!

.. where Ikea meets a ginger-giraffe and a strange animal

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

guess what! i didn’t actually meet them. well, i did meet them afterwards, when they were out of oven, had their sugar-coating and i was taking fotografs. but i actually also made them myself, jei!
apparently i have to tell u that unlike last time – and – not to mention the last time before last time, i was not allowed to make so many xmas cookies this time. because, u know, i only mostly made giraffes. And, then Teddies eat all of them giraffes!! So this time Sipsik said – less giraffes – because we don’t need that kind of massacre here. Not before Christmas, anyway. But maybe she said so just because she could not find the giraffe-shape cookie cutter? well, apparently this remains a mystery as of now. So, instead, i made this one giraffe with a really really long neck, hehe! Check it out:

well, in fact i wanted to make a giraffe with even longer neck but apparently it does not fit in the oven!! (Although Teddies suggested some good ideas that we still need to research before we talk to Sipsik about it..). So instead, we made this strange fun animal with a gr8 fun name: animal-with-no-name. But it looks a bit like a dog to me, i’m afraid. The good fun thing about it is, that it’s mu first ever gingerbread cookie in 3D, jei!
me and my friend Lotte are currently working on an idea of a 3D giraffe ginger cookie, but as of right now, we have run into that oven problem once again. Really really annoying, if u ask me. Still, we will be working on it again tonight. Until then, let me know if you have made any 3D xmas cookies (or giraffes)? have fun and cu l8r!

.. where Ikea makes.. giraffes!!

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

guess what! it’s been Christmas time! so, if u didn’t get the last post – Merry Christmas to you! so, for this Christmas, i decided to borrow my friend Sipsik’s Christmas-cookie-cutter. u know – because it is in the shape of a GIRAFFE!! that’s great! so, naturally, i had to make some giraffes!

oh, and did i tell u that i secretly also made one moose!? hehe..
i guess the hard part is getting the giraffes from after cutting to the pan. it’s because of my paws, u know. they are not very good for lifting thin sticky objects! in fact, i have to tell u that most giraffes don’t bake all that much. i guess that’s because so many are vegetarians. i am also vegetarian, but i also like some other stuff. like ice-cream, for example, hehe!

so, finally i got the giraffes lined up. this is the first patch. and here, they’re all here, little giraffes…!!!!

.. and me, ready for some fun sugar-coating with one of my favorite colours – yellow! it seems to me that decorating the christmas cookies is one of the most important things. because, u know, have u ever seen a giraffe with no eyes?? no fun having no eyes at all, i’m afraid.

So, afterwards, on the next fotograf you see how it looks pretty much. This fotograf is called “45+1 giraffes and a Moose”:

and in fact, it not just a fotograf, it is a puzzle! i have to tell u, it is quite fun – here’s the puzzle question: which giraffe is unique? hint-hint: it’s not me! so far, only Angel has figured out the right answer (but he had some computerized help, i think). so, let me know your answers in comments! so, have fun, and cu l8r! (next year, probably) hehe!
