.. where Ikea visits Dikli (Latvia)

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

Guess what!? i have just been to Latvia! that’s gr8 news, because i like travelling a lot! i have to say that i am, in fact, very much tired of this trip, so this post will be a short one. but the good news is that i have fotografs, jei!

also, i can’t tell u exactly what i was doing in Latvia, i’m afraid. because it is a secret!! but for the most time i was in Dikli, which is a village with a Palace. it’s really nice! no kings or queens there, however. instead, there is a hotel with lots of rooms and some other things, especially a Park. But i must say that i had no time to visit this park, but it seemed really really mysterious. so, if i can, i will go back there sometimes.

but, there are lots of fun things u can do in Dikli, for example:

you can ride a bike, like me! very nice, hehe!
then, u can talk to the storks. they are on a quite low tree, so even if u are not a giraffe, like me, you could easily talk to them. Storks are well known for their knowledge about frogs. So, if u are into frogs or snails even, u should talk to them. They live on a tree trunk:

Other things u can do – run like this green Dino. i like running a lot, so this is one of my favorite things to do in Dikli. Here’s me and Dino:

Then of course u can go on a merry-go-round thing to have some fun rounds. it can go really fast, u know!

or, of course, u can just hang around in the area park, eat grass or visit the palace. they said it even has some nice relaxation area with some fun watery things. i did not go there, i was busy outside, actually. maybe i can go next time, because it sounds like fun. so, what about you, have u been to Latvia? let me know because i will go there again, hehe! have fun and cu l8r!

.. where Ikea visits puppies and meets Shaun!

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

guess what! last week i tried to visit my friends, puppies, to see how they were doing. i discovered that they had in fact left. their home was pretty much empty, except for the Black-And-White Cat, that was having a nap there instead. So i guess they must have gone travelling.
however, i did find out from the Cat that there were new puppies living nearby in the Shed. so, i went to meet them instead! they were seven!!

here you can see two of them new puppies, they are gr8! i met up with everybody and their mother Free and then we played a fun game called Judo. I learned Judo from my new friend Lotte, as u may know. So, i tried this new game out with my new puppy friends. it was great fun, as u can imagine! also, we invented a new version of the Judo – a team event! check it out:

lots of fun, don’t u think? the rules are very simple: there are just two: RULE #1. it is exactly like regular Judo, except rule nr two. RULE #2. you can have any number of teams with any number of players. so, this time we played with everybody on the same team!

l8r on we were thinking of playing hide and seek as well, because of the great hiding places in the shed, but apparently it was a nap time. so, instead i wondered around to look for some green grass. i was just about to eat some, when i met this Lamb!

we talked about best places to find grass around the farm and if he’d seen the Puppies. But he hadn’t, since he was only few weeks old. But i did learn that he’s name is Shaun! Shaun the Sheep, jei! what a surprise!! Now i have already three sheep friends with the name Shaun, hehe!

oh, it seems to me that i need to go now because we are going travelling, jei! so i better get packing. until then, have fun and cu l8r!

.. where Ikea watches the Tartu Running Marathon

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

like i said last time, there was this cool running marathon again! (we, giraffes, like running marathons a lot, as u probably know already) and i went to see how everybody is doing. i could not participate myself this time, because my friend Sipsik was running instead. so i had to watch her stuff and take fotografs. however, what happened is that the battery run out just after start!! luckily i had a phone with me, so i could take some alternative pictures. but they are not so great-looking, i’m afraid, hehe! so i will only post one, which i took about 1 kilometer before the finish, as u can see on the large banner. but running is lot’s of fun and as u know i like running lots. so, perhaps next time we take a backup battery with us (which we have, actually, but apparently it so happened that the teddies had played checkers and using it as a dam! – it’s a good thing, usually they would have tried eating it). so i better go and recharge it right away. until then, let me know if u have been running in the marathons already this year? have fun and cu l8r!
