.. where Ikea assembles a red table!

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

Guess what! our new red table arrived from – yes! – IKEA! and we got to build it. Well, my friend Lotte says we did not exactly build it, because, it was almost done. So u can say we put it together. or assembled it. Either way, now we have it! Do u want to know more about it? Here comes!

so, here’s me and my friend Tik inspecting the package. The gr8 news is that in addition to the red table, there are also chairs! 2 of them, in fact.

so that is exactly what was in the topmost package. here’s me and my friends Lotte and Tik contemplating. Because, u know, at first it seems like there are too many parts! Luckily for us, my friend Lotte is quite good at these assemblies. We had the first chair together in almost no time at all!

Here’s Lotte, Tik and me with the chair. So, now we left the other chair for my friend Sipsik and moved on to the table ourselves. Here on the next fotograf, u already see two chairs completed and most of the table as well:

The gr8 thing about these IKEA tables (besides that they look nice) is that they are so easy to assemble. In fact, it took even less time for my friend Sipsik to put this other chair together. It is actually a little bit mystery to me that chairs can be so easy to assemble..
Well, the good news is that the red table and the chairs are all together now, as u can see below. So it was time to rest a little bit. But let me also tell u a secret – this table and chairs are not for us – they are for my friends Pipi and Lotta! But i have agreed with my friend Sipsik that we can use them as well. I know the Teddies want to use these chairs to climb up to the cookie jar, but i’m not so sure this was part of the agreement..? So, i have to find out. Until then, let me know if u have assembled any tables or chairs recently? Have fun and cu l8r!

.. where Ikea is making rabbits!

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea! Merry Christmas!

it seems to me it is xmas time! and that only means one thing – Christmas Cookies, jei! This time, it is – of course – rabbits! Because, u know, it’s the favorite animal of my friend, Pipi. Just after giraffes, hehe!

So, making xmas cookies is really really easy. U need pretty much the same things as what u would need for making giraffes. And then, u need the rabbit cookie-cutter! Here’s how it looks like with a few rabbits cut out:

Did u find the rabbit with one ear? It’s because Saab ate one ear!! Here’s some more rabbits, baked:

DSC_2740

Can u find the on-eared rabbit here too? What about two ducks? hehe, it’s like puzzle, don’t u think?! Well, here’s a little puzzle for u:

DSC_2755

Find:
– a rabbit with one ear
– a rabbit without ears
– two ducks
– a rabbit with a banjo
– a rabbit with square sunglasses
– a rabbit with a Peace sign
– a rabbit with a big S
– a rabbit with a beard
– a rabbit with one eye
– a rabbit with three eyes
– a rabbit with bmw sign
– a rabbit from Star Trek
– a bee-looking rabbit
– a rabbit with swimming trunks and suspenders
– a rabbit with Hedgehog from Pesakond

u can also find others, if u want. as u can see, there are lots of small hearts too on this fotograf. my friend Lotte made those. Can u tell, how many are there?
and look, what i also found – the Moomins!

DSC_2759

apparently, my friend Sipsik had baked some as I was away taking fotografs of rabbits, hehe! also, i can tell u a secret – my friends Sipsik and Lotte and me, we put the Moomins and the rabbits in little Christmas packages for our other friends! Luckily, we had some rabbits left over too, look:

DSC_2854

As u can see, making rabbits is gr8 fun! It seems to me that making rabbits is almost as fun as making giraffes. Or any other Christmas cookies really! Also, the gr8 news is that now we can eat them! The Teddies will especially like this part, hehe. Did u make any Christmas cookies this year? Let me know!

Have fun and Merry Christmas!!

.. where Ikea goes to playground

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

over my summer break, i found lots of fun things. for exempel, i found this gr8 place called the playground! it is gr8 fun! It is mostly for kids, but giraffes are also allowed, yes! (but no dogs, i’m afraid). There is lots of fun things you can do in a playground, but since it was a bit wet for making sandcastles (jei) here’s something i tried: swinging! here’s me on a swing:

giraffes are not allowed on swings on their own many times, so here’s me with my friend Pipi. we managed just fine, if u ask me! just a little bit tight, but lots of fun!
but i have to say, the most fun thing that i found on this playground is this: the SLIDE!

the SLIDE is for sliding. you climb up from one side and SLIDE down from the other – as simple as that! and SLIDEs can be quite LOOOO…

…OOOOOooooonng, like this one!! and also like giraffes’ necks, they are long too! so they can be a little scary. but fear not, you can not fall anywhere, only slide!

so, the most important thing is to sit still, breathe in-and-out few times and then just SLIDE!! just like me below! jei, SLIDING is lots of fun!! have u been sliding recently? let me know!! in fact, i thing i will actually go and practice my SLIDE now because, apparently, Lotte found out about this SLIDE. So now we will be having Kadriorg Olympic Sliding Games, it seems!! hehe, sounds gr8 fun, if u ask me :) so, have fun and cu l8r!
