.. where Angel (ice-bear) meets ice figures

Hello folks! It’s me, Angel, here. Ikea is still busy doing other zings..
so, instead, me, an ice-bear. Luckily for me (and Ikea i guess) I have new Ice pics! As you may have read, ice is grand! So i read in the news about this grand park with ice figures, to check it out immediately. And what do i find! Very nice ice! Oh, and i took photos, as i said:

As you can see here, a hedgehog. Quite well crafted and recognizable in shape. Loooove the dots on the sides. Someone has stuck a coin on it’s forehead.. lame.

A wolf actually. Fishing – couldn’t tell, but i read it on the stand. I guess those on the side are fish-heads. Big ones! And mind you, it’s not a glow-wolf, there’s just a lamp behind it.

Magnificent fork! Reminds me of a sketch by Monty Python, also about a fork, evidently. I have yet to see a fork so massive though! Almost as high as a neighboring Opera house, as you can see!  Very well lit too! Did I mention there was a knife also? There was a knife also! (but smaller)

And here’s one of my favorites, a Bird! Ice Bird, not Larry or Angry or any of those. Could be an eagle though..

There were some others too, like a frog or averyniceblockofICE – at least that’s what it looked like. All very very much fun, so highly recommended to go and check it out. They are in Tammsaare park right now, but i suspect they might melt after a while. OR i might go and nick one or two.. Well, that DOES sound like a good plan, when I think about it..! So I have to go now then, best Fishes and stay cool!

.. where Angel (ice-bear) talks about his favorite thing..

.. which is: ICE!

oh, hello there! It’s me, Ikea! but this time let me introduce to you my friend Angel, the ice-bear! well, in the Great Book of Wild Teddies And Other Animals, ice-bears are sometimes called polar bears. I don’t know why, actually. Because Angel has never told me anything about such thing as “polar”.. But i know one thing for sure – he loves ice!! so, that’s probably why he is called an ice-bear, it seems to me.

Actually, we know of his attraction to ice for quite some time now. probably from day one, when i met him – when i think about it. it seems to me that it was the icicle that he was chewing on that gave him away. but of course we could not be so sure.. until one day of course when my friend Aura (who lives in Tartu) found him building an igloo on the pond!! unfortunately no fotografs from that.

it was quite easy from then on, because most of the time when it gets cold outside, Angel is pretty much gone. that’s usually then when he is building the igloos or just having fun in the ice. like for example this weekend! so this time, i sneaked out after him and took some fotografs. here they are – with Angels comments.

so hello, here this is me, Angel. as u can see, i like ice. a lot! Here i have found a fun iceberg just to sit on and relax. this is very cozy ice, as you can see for yourself.

this, on the other hand is not so nice, because of the colour. however it is not what you may think it is! its just regular ice from the sea. the color is brown because it is meant for brown bears. heh heh. not really, it’s a fun joke that we have with Teddies. the brown colour comes from seaweed and other plants. however, this ice is quite funny because it is not slippery. well, not for me it isn’t.

this is called a three o’clock roll. this is something that i do usually around three o’clock during the daytime every day. it’s just a fun thing to do, especially on a public ice like this one. this time i also got lucky and had very nice white snow on top of the ice, so its all clean and white afterwards. and yes, it is a public ice, the fishermen are all crowded in the background. ask Ikea!

so here i tried to build an igloo too. not a gr8 success i’m afraid. it’s because of the wind and the new brown water/ice that somewhat ruined the idea. better luck next time i guess..

here, this is one of my favorite litte ice-bergs. i just sometimes come and hang around here and look at my reflextion on the ice. it’s quite facinating. there’s also a little bit of Estonian flag in the background, if u look hard enough. so, a gr8 fun place to chill in fact.

Ikea is… well he’s not here

Hello folks! It’s me, Angel here. I have to tell ya that Ikea is not here at ze moment. Luckily for me, because I can play with his new phone! So I found this place for taking photos and then I also discovered this blog thing!! So, because it is Tuesday, I’ll try to post something fun myself. But seriously speaking we, ice-bears, are not so much into fun things. Except for ice! Ice is a lot of fun. Also snow. OOh, i’m so waiting for the snow to start falling. Because it is all rain and rain and rain..

But, let me tell you the only fun story that I know about giraffes:

A Rabbit, a Giraffe and an Elephant jump off of a roof of 10-story building. Rabbit jumps first and counts the floors: “10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 6, 5, 6, 5” – caugth by suspenders!
Giraffe jumps next and counts: “10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6… 6!” -too long neck! Elephant then jumps last and counts: “10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, asphalt, mud, sand, clay, stone, oh.. hello miners!!

hehehe.. not so funny really, is it?
I know this seems a bit cruel, but it’s the kind of humor that we, Ice-bears tell each other in these cold winter nights. Oh, and we eat fish too (whilst telling).
But, to finish off with a more fun note, I add a photo of the best-looking (Ice)bear ever (that’s me). It’s not a great photo, but I already know that. Because I had to let Saab and Volvo take this. And, mind you, they are not very great photografers, really. But I hope u like it. Now, we’re going to form a search camp to start looking for Ikea. Until then, best Fishes!
