.. where Ikea visits puppies and meets Shaun!

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

guess what! last week i tried to visit my friends, puppies, to see how they were doing. i discovered that they had in fact left. their home was pretty much empty, except for the Black-And-White Cat, that was having a nap there instead. So i guess they must have gone travelling.
however, i did find out from the Cat that there were new puppies living nearby in the Shed. so, i went to meet them instead! they were seven!!

here you can see two of them new puppies, they are gr8! i met up with everybody and their mother Free and then we played a fun game called Judo. I learned Judo from my new friend Lotte, as u may know. So, i tried this new game out with my new puppy friends. it was great fun, as u can imagine! also, we invented a new version of the Judo – a team event! check it out:

lots of fun, don’t u think? the rules are very simple: there are just two: RULE #1. it is exactly like regular Judo, except rule nr two. RULE #2. you can have any number of teams with any number of players. so, this time we played with everybody on the same team!

l8r on we were thinking of playing hide and seek as well, because of the great hiding places in the shed, but apparently it was a nap time. so, instead i wondered around to look for some green grass. i was just about to eat some, when i met this Lamb!

we talked about best places to find grass around the farm and if he’d seen the Puppies. But he hadn’t, since he was only few weeks old. But i did learn that he’s name is Shaun! Shaun the Sheep, jei! what a surprise!! Now i have already three sheep friends with the name Shaun, hehe!

oh, it seems to me that i need to go now because we are going travelling, jei! so i better get packing. until then, have fun and cu l8r!

.. where Ikea checks out snow figures in Kadriorg

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

hehe, welcome back! because i was going to tell u about what i did yesterday – i went to check out the snow figures that lots of people made on Sunday. i could not go to check them out on Sunday, because i was little occupied. Occupied is like busy but also u can’t go anywhere, like me. I was doing some giraffe stuff, u know, also. but i did go instead yesterday and met many fun snow figures. no snow tigers this time, i’m afraid. instead, i find this rabbit, hehe!

apparently there is also the year of rabbits of some sort coming up i think? so i tried asking this one, but no luck. because it was a snow rabbit. even i could understand that!

but there were also some other ones. like this guy here:

i don’t know what animal it is. do you? Undu says it could be a hedgehog, but i have seen hedgehogs and they don’t have a letter N on their belly. what do u think?

this one is more interesting. it’s an interesting penguin!! in fact, it was so interesting that all the time some kids were trying to hug it. so did i! as u can see, it is quite big one. so it can’t be the madagascar penguin. because they are all very small. more in the size of me, i’d say…

u know, there were quite a few snow figures, some of them i don’t have fotografs. so, after a while i got a little bit hungrig, as u can guess. luckily, there was this nice lady:

she’s rather nice, don’t u think? i mean, to have buns for free in the middle of whole park of snow figures. very nice! although i’m not a big fan of buns, these tasted really well. probably because they were so big.

and here’s me after the bun-eating episode. i take a little bit of rest on top of this cat. i like the eyes especially!
so, that’s it for now. because i need to go and work on this one mysterious other thing. until then let me know if u have seen any snow figures lately? if not, perhaps come around and check them out yourself? they are right here, in Kadriorg. have fun and cu l8r!

.. where Ikea explores the windmills and meets a rat

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

i have to tell u a secret! i went a little geocaching last time i was in Saaremaa!! and, u know, this is when i met these large fun houses called windmills! they make flour in these windmills u know! well, they don’t anymore because of lot of reasons, one of them being that they now make flour elsewhere. but these windmills are still there, so everyone can go in and take a look! so we did!

these windmills are quite nice houses actually, because of two things: 1. they have a large fan and 2. the big one is actually from Holland, one of my favorite countries. also, they have many floors with a rope going though! check it out:

apparently, this rope was also good for something back when they were making this flour. but they don’t anymore, so it was just a lot of fun. u know, when exploring, i had several ideas why they don’t make this flour there anymore (besides the one that i already mentioned). and i think one of the reasons is that someone has nicked the millstone!

so it can be a little tricky to grind all these grains without millstones! not so much fun, i’m afraid. and also, another reason might be that not too many people live in this mill. i guess the only people who live there are the tourists. well, they don’t actually live there, but they visit often. and of course, then there are the Petersons. and of course, then, there is the Rat!!!

wohoo, i have to say i was a bit scared of the rat in fact. because it was a bit dark in the corner. giraffes are not usually scared by rats, it’s just that this one scared without any warning. luckily, the Petersons had a cat nearby, so before anything else happened, i was very much rescued. although i wanted to say hello to this Rat and ask how she was doing. because, as i found out from the Petersons, her name is Mildred in fact and she’s 2 years old. that’s like 15 in giraffe years. Here’s the Petersons after capturing me from the Rat Mildred:

needless to say, there were more animals. well, animal figures in fact, because there were wooden horses outside!!! wooden horses are quite fun too, especially the ones by the windmills, with the funny hair, hehe! check it out:

i can say that there are 5 or so windmills alltogether in this place of windmills, but i am not going to tell u about each of them. because they kind of look quite similar u know!! so, what started out as a little fun trip of geocaching ended up being even more fun with all this windmill exploration, meeting a Rat, the Petersons and fotografs on wooden horses. i guess it is all just gr8 fun for a giraffe, like me – don’t u think? now i have made a little plan of going to visit Holland in order to check out the windmills over there.. but wait, that’s a little secret for now – only Angel knows about it. until then – perhaps u know any other places with windmills that i could travel to? let me know and have fun!
