Happy Birthday Sipsik!

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

now, i have to tell you a big secret! there are some people living also together with me!! especially Sipsik and she has a birthday TODAY! tshhh, she is sleeping at the moment, but when she wakes up, u know. I actually met her 4 years ago in Jonköping and we have stayed togeher since then. she’s a real fan of giraffes, i must say. in fact, at our place, there are probably hundreds, if not thousands of giraffes. they are.. u know, everywhere! so i have made a little postcard for her:

if u are asking how i made these thin lines with my paws? hehe – with a pen! :)

also, Sipsik has a twin sister, so happy birthday to Pille as well! apparently, also i have a birthday too, so everyone who’s been reading this blog of mine or is a fan on facebook, thank u very much for that and happy my birthday to u too! have fun and c u l8er!

.. where Ikea is watching Haanja maraton

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!
last weekend i was traveling to south-Estonia again to watch some skiing again. this time Haanja Maraton as u can see here – this is me at the start (everybody has already started, i’m afraid):

but, i have no skis yet, so i was just watching this time. i hope they make some skis for giraffes soon, because it seems to me that there is a lot of snow here in south-Estonia every time i travel here! because the marathon is quite long u know – 40km – and very nice sunny weather, i had lots of time to sunbathe!!

hehe! but, of course, when the skiers finally came back to finish, i then went a little closer to cheer them up! u know, in Estonia they seem to shout “hei hei hei” to the skiers, which sounds exactly like “hej hej hej” in swedish. which is “hello”. so, it is quite nice when you are from sweden and coming to finish and everybody is saying “hello”! fun!

so here it’s me saying “hello” to everybody, hehe!
and look – again SHADOW! ooh, i like shadows, u know, they are great fun!

and here, finally we had great local soup from local soup-makers! it’s probably the best soup that i have had, although i’m not a soup-giraffe that much. anyways, i have to say, really successful day/weekend in Haanja u know: i got to sunbathe, i saw shadows and had a lot of fun shouting “hello” :) what kind of fun travel have u done recently? let me know in comments and c u l8r!

.. where Ikea is playing yatzy with Saab och Volvo

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

i have had few questions about friends who are living together with me. so, i did a little research and here are the results: first, i guess you have already heard about Angel, the ice-bear. he usually sits on telly or hides in the bamboo basket, if u ask me. then, just recently a new friend, Undu moved in also. he’s very funny with his sheep coat. since about a year ago, we also have a girl in our house, named Leenu. apparently she’s not been on this blog yet. hmm… that’s probably because she’s really quiet! then i have also another friend called Vassu – he’s a calf. in fact, i may need to blog about him some other time in more detail, he’s actually quite funny. and then of course, there are Saab and Volvo. they are Teddy-bears. they are actually from Jonköping, Sweden, like me, so i guess they were actually the first roommates.

so, with a lot of fun outside in the snow recently, yesterday me and Saab and Volvo decided to do something fun in the house – to play yatzy. i think Saab and Volvo are playing yatzy and other games quite often with Leenu, but i have been really busy recently with my fotografs.

so, here we are, throwing dice. and if u are asking who won, then we don’t know for sure..! because in the middle of the game, when it was my turn and i was counting dice, Saab quickly ate the paper where we had been marking the scores! he wasn’t doing so well i’m afraid, that’s why. so, i think Volvo actually won because every time he had all sixes, as u can see here:

that’s really quite mysterious, i have to say. have u had anything like this while playing yatzy? let me know in comments and cu l8r!
