.. where Ikea finds Fathers Day cookies

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!
shh! i will tell u a secret now.. I found cookies! not the Christmas cookies (which are my favorites), but Father’s day cookies! Apparently it was Fathers day last Sunday and somehow these cookies appeared on our bookshelf:

so i sneaked right up to them cookies (i love sneaking a lot!!) to try them out. in fact, i very much concentrated all my efforts on trying them. because, u know, they were really really really good! (i ate 4.. but shh!) as it turns out, they are made out of oatmeal, which is gr8 because oatmeal is definitely one of my favorites. it seems to me these Fathers Day cookies will easily make it to the top 100 of best things to eat.. well, just thinking about it makes me want to go sneaking and trying again.. i guess that’s what i will do.. but please keep quiet because nobody needs to know it was me! until then, have fun and cu l8r!
ps. DEFINITELY DON*T tell the Teddies!!

.. where Ikea finds a fun path in Kadriorg

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

guess what! i found a strange path in my home park, Kadriorg!! Check it out:

In fact, i was just doing my regular walking-around-in-the-park, when i noticed it! very interesting..! luckily there was just a sign explaining pretty much everything. u can read (click to make bigger):

apparently, it is some kind of art project. and it is there no longer, i’m afraid because i heard it was there only for a few days. however, i was there and i have proof (fotografs, as u can see). but also, i recorded a video. because, u know – and this is very mysterious, if u ask me, a giraffe – IT LEADS NOWHERE!! see for yourself:

it is very very strange, don’t you think? but certainly lots of fun! i hope they make more of those kinds of paths in Kadriorg, just for fun. have u seen anything like this in your neighborhoods? well, let me know!! and here’s a little “find-a-giraffe” fotograf for u as a bonus! have fun and cu l8r!

.. where Ikea finds a dinosaur in Tartu

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

guess where I was last weekend!? in Haanja, watching Haanja 100 running event Jala100, which is 100 kilometers of running/walking as fast as u can. this is a lot of kilometers, even in giraffe terms!! unluckily, i could not take any fotografs as the battery went a bit dead. well, nothing serious, just empty, apparently.

so, let me introduce you my new friend – a dinosaur from Tartu:

He is made out of wood, so he does not talk. but you can sit on him, hehe! he’s really nice and his name is Bota. Yes, it is a fotograf from few weeks ago when i met him in his neighborhood. but i can’t tell u exactly where it is. it’s for two reasons: 1. it is a secret! and 2. when too many people come to his area, he may soon be extinct. Extinct means that there will be no dinosaurs. and that would really be a shame!!

so, i gotta go and load the battery now, but here’s a question of the week for u: have u ever run 100km race or seen a dinosaur? let me know! have fun and cu l8r!
