.. where Ikea goes to.. IKEA!

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

u won’t believe what happened last weekend! i went to travel to IKEA! u know, it’s a shop with my name on it!!! that’s great thing! this shop is in Finland, in fact. That’s probably why i have not been to this shop before. here it is:

so, me and my friends went to check out all the things inside this shop, Ikea!!
apparently, it is supposed to be a shop for furniture! guess what – it’s not! i mean, not ONLY furniture. in fact, it has pretty much everything!! for example, if you are a giraffe, like me, and would not like to be a giraffe, u can buy this very nice thing, a bear costume! check it out, it is very nice:

well, this is the hat, u also need the other parts. like body, for example. u can see the bodies also on this fotograf, in the right lower left corner area.

so u must be curious, if there are any fun people (or animals) to meet in this shop, Ikea? in fact, YES! there are lots of them!!! mice, cows, monkeys, cats, dogs, frogs, crocs, rabbits, mice – oh did i already say that? so, there are lots of mice, bunnies, more dogs, elephants, tigers, even MOOSE!! yes! check it out yourself:

not too much space for such a big family, i’m afraid.. but they are all very happy and exited, because of christmas. so they will be travelling to many places around Finland soon – this one dog told me. Helsinki mostly, in fact. Some actually planning to come to Estland. so we’ll see then! Oh, did i tell u his name? of this dog, i mean? oh, his name is Kalle! he’s from Sweden också. so we talked about Jonköping and life over there. Seems like it’s winter time there too! Very nice! So, here’s a fotograf of me and Kalle, talking about some important stuff. Like Vättern!

so, it took quite a while to check everything in this Ikea shop. but i can say it was a lot of fun! so, finally we got some stuff for my friends and guess what – also our place here in Estland! for example this very comfy pillow that i am sitting on RIGHT NOW! also, it seems to me that we are just about to put something together!! i don’t know what it is yet, but it looks like a small package of papers right now! so i gotta go, but i hope to post fotografs of this thing next time!! so, have fun and hej do!

.. where Ikea takes Angel to where snow is made!

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

apparently, last year, they only had to make snow only this one time. and later they moved the machines, i think. for example i think maybe norway, they were missing some snow? so what happened, is that i never had a chance to take Angel with me, like i promised. so, last week, right after i found out it was all snowing, i wanted to go and check it out. but of course then, i got stuck, as i was telling you. but then of course i wanted to make sure i go there. because my friends Stretchnecks and MooseHerd were telling me they don’t have much snow at all!! i quickly figured out (with the help of Undu, he’s pretty smart about these things u know) that it must be because the snow machines maybe also stuck.. at this where they make snow, maybe?

so, me and Angel, we went to this where they made snow last year. and they are also making this year!! that’s great news! so, before i could say “snowmachines!” Angel had quickly left to investigate:

as it turns out, the snow machines had been making snow for some time already (which explains the large hills of snow under our windows AND the huge pile of snow where i got stuck)! apparently, the snowmakers had manufactured a very nice mountain of snow right there at the spot!

ps. Stretchnecs and MooseHerd, the snowmachine is right there on the left. and in fact, there is another one right there behind the bump!

so, finally i also  made it up this great snow-mountain! Angel was all covered in the snow by the time, i’m afraid!

but of course, he’s quite used to this, i have to say. we then studied how the snow flies. apparently, the machines only blow the snow up to certain height. and then, usually, wind comes and takes it all around the area. nothing very mysterious there, actually. after we’d done all that, we also did something called “sliding down the snowy slopes”. it’s a thing that ice-bears do in their spare time. it’s very much fun!! and it looks something like this:

please not the sliding tracks just behind us. Angel tells me that it is better to do on a hard snow like that. apparently u get stuck with the soft snow.. hehe, i knew that!

unfortunately, we did not find out how long are these machines going to be there. so i don’t know where they go next. maybe to Tartu, because my friend Muzzy tells me that they have only very little snow too! but i did also find out that these are not the only machines!! so, i hope that they will start the machines in the area of my friends Stretchnecks and MooseHerd soon too. i hope! so, until then, please write in comments, if u already have snow and if u do, have you found out where they are making it? have fun and cu l8r!

.. where Ikea gets stuck in snow!!

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!
if you have been following me on twitter you maybe found out two things: 1. they started making snow!!! (i know this, because this great new white snow is EVERYWHERE! and it is really really nice too.) and 2. i was going to go and check out if they are making the snow in this place that they made snow last year. but  i have to tell you – i did not go at once, because i wanted to watch how it is snowing very nicely. and then Angel wanted to play hide-and-seek. and then i was thinking about christmas cookies. and then i had to look up one word in the dictionary for Undu who now has a new hobby. but i can’t talk about it, it is supposed to be a secret!! so, then i forgot about it until i only remembered it again in the evening. so i wanted to go, really! and then – i got stuck!!!

u know, giraffes are know for their long necks, but it was even over my head! well, almost over my head, as u can see! also, it is a bit cold when the snow is all over your head too! i am happy that at least i managed to have this fotograf taken, so i could show you the big piles of snow that came down in just about one day! but no going to check the snowmakers this time, i’m afraid…

but i will make another try. because Angel also wanted to come and in fact, he might actually quite enjoy this. so, will go and discuss with Undu and Angel another way to get through the snow. Until then, please let me know if you have spotted any (other) places they are making snow! maybe they will not be at the same place, then it is good to know, u know! have fun and cu l8r!
