.. where Ikea sees rain and meets puppies

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

as u may have noticed, i was travelling to south-Estonia lately. and one thing about south-Estonia is that you may get rained on. well, most of the time u get snow actually, but this time i got some rain! lots of fun! so i decided to see who’s out and what’s up in general.
so, first of all, i tried to catch some rain in my fotografs. it was not so easy, but anyway i got a fotograf of the rain – over here:

as u can observe, it was a very decent rain in fact. so, i did not want to go splashing about in the mud, like my friend undu likes to do. also, i don’t currently have the special clothes my friend otter has, so i figured i find a little shelter. that’s when i met the puppies!

there were about 5 of them puppies and they gladly asked me to join their new home for the time of rain. so i did. unfortunately i don’t have a group fotograf, because it was all wet outside – and the cameras are not quite as waterproof as giraffes, i’m afraid. or better still, wolves. u know, like my friend undu – besides rain, he also seems to be mud-proof! well, i have to take a few fotografs of him and post them some other time. because this time he had gone somewhere and was not seen all the time it was raining and i was visiting the puppies.

so, here’s a few fotografs of their place, here’s the living room..

.. and well… that’s pretty much it! well, they do have another room for dining, but that was a little occupied at the time, hehe! so here’s another one of the living room for you then:

somehow he wanted to eat my horns.. so, we talk a little about the weather and just wanted to start playing hide-and-seek when the rain stopped. in fact it did not stop totally, but more or less, so i could sneak back into the house without much trouble. i guess it is also good fun not to have special rain clothes sometimes, because u might just as well end up with some fun puppies! so, it was great fun. what about u, have u had some good fun with rain recently? let me know in comments! have fun and cu l8r!

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!
and u know what day it is today? it’s Friday! it’s my favorite day in fact. it starts with F, u know. actually, it is FunFriday. also, i know that today Football World Cup starts. Football is also with F. so lots of Fs and fun. and today is the day when my friend Ikea For the Fun starts it’s travels too! check it out:

so this is my first travel bug. it’s actually not a bug, it’s a small giraffe, like me! it has a goal to get to Africa. Madagascar in fact. because i have this favorite film, Madagascar, and they want to go to Madagascar. and they have a lot of fun going there. so, i wanted to go to Madagascar too. but before i go there myself, i figured, i send my friend, little Ikea traveller. so help him get there! if he gets there, next he will want to go to New York too. so please help. he likes travel as much as i do, in fact. so, today he started his travels really from a geocache named Foorum – hehe, guess why this one :)
ooh, and if u don’t know what is geocaching, check out me geocaching. or if u live in Estonia, then there is a page where all the local geocachers live – over here at www.geopeitus.ee !!

And also! very important – if u have a cool story with Ikea4Fun, please share with me – send to ikea[ät]ikeathegiraffe.com, and I will share it on my blog here! have fun!

.. where Ikea is watching Rõuge Rattamaraton

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

Ooh, last week has been quite busy for me, a giraffe. I was travelling in many places, looking for Olaf, but no luck yet. If you do, please let me know, OK?
Other than that, the weekend was most fun. Especially on Saturday i was watching mountainbikers all day. u know, the track was right next to this place i was. so, naturally i went to check it out. AND i took some fotografs too!

well, first of all, i had to go and check out the signs. u know, if i was in the right place. so, here’s me going..

however, i must admit that i got carried away by the fresh scent of hay. and, got lost somehow, quite mysteriously.

u see, even if you are a giraffe, like me, there is some hay that is still taller than you. so, it actually took quite some time before i got back on that road again, but i did! and then i checked out this sign.

in fact, this sign says really two things. 1. the bikers come this way (hence the sign) and 2. there is 1 kilometer to the place where you can have food and drinks. i did not go that far myself, so i don’t know what they had this time, i’m afraid. i wonder if they had any acacia leaves, or at least ice-cream?

so, after that, i tried to figure out a good place to sit in order to have a good view. after trying this pole..

..and then the other one..

.. i realized that climbing is not for me. so i stayed on the ground. :) as it turned out, it actually was a GREAT spot. because i could see bikers both coming..

.. and going! ooh, and there were quite many, i have to say. i think i have not even seen as many giraffes in a herd as there were bikers! once they started coming, they just came and came and came. it seems to me biking is a lot of fun, that’s why so many bikers. perhaps i can also get a bike one day? i saw mr fox had one really cute one.. hmm.. have to think about that.
as u might think there were lots more fotografs taken. if you want to find your friends, check out these photos over here and tell me if you know anyone. or perhaps did you go biking yourself? let me know in comments! have fun and cu l8er!
