.. where Ikea is stuck again!

unfortunately i can’t update the blog right now with new fun things that i have been doing because i am stuck! it’s a bit of a sticky situation i’m afraid.. so, in fact i don’t know how long i may need to stay here. the good news is that i can play Angry Birds and watch the ‘lympics from here, hehe. So, i will try to get out of here soon. And if u see my friend Sipsik then please let her know that i’m here and i’m OK, but perhaps she can help me out..! until then, have fun and cu l8r!

.. where Ikea is driving a new tractor

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

guess what! i tried out driving a tractor, hehe! it’s fun! have u been driving a tractor? i have now. and it is gr8 fun. especially when the tractor is green and has a deer on it!!

of course, i took some fotografs as well. AND i have to tell u that i used a little help. because tractors are not designed for giraffes, it is really hard to push all the pedals at once. like for example turn the wheel and brake at the same time!

but i guess turning the wheel is the most important thing. so, unless you want to stop, u don’t need to press the brakes at all. I did not want to stop, if u ask me!

the second most important thing is to switch gears. of course, if you want to go faster! I did!

but, since you have to *again* press some pedals, then what i did is to put in the fast gear all at once. you can do that with a tractor. it does not work on a car, i’m afraid..

another cool thing about this tractor besides being green and going really really fast is that you can take a friend with you on a ride. i took a picture where this friend needs to sit and how to wear a seatbelt. u need to have the seatbelt, if you want to go really really fast (like i did), hehe!

also, just after i had come back from driving the tractor, my friend Angel (who is good at these technology things) told me that u can also use the tractor with all kinds of machinery and not just for driving really fast! gr8 news! so, maybe i should go and try that now..

.. where Ikea goes to Seaplane Harbour

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

guess what! had very much fun last weekend in the Seaplane Harbour It’s a Museum. It’s actually supposed to be a museum of all kinds of ships, but it also has other things. Like planes and boats. And mines and guns and half a tank!! Luckily none of them are used, but for you to look at. It is very new and I had only little time, so I plan on going there again sometimes. Therefore i only took couple of fotografs. But you can see from here, the museum itself is inside these huge egg-shaped buildings:

this is a model actually, the actual building is really really huge. even bigger and taller than ten giraffes! but it looks really cool inside:

i’m sitting on a mine, should you ask. it’s not a real one though, more like playmine – look at the colours! but there’s lots more, for example a real submarine!! So, in case you are into this kind of fun things, check it out. It’s in Tallinn and by the sea – so quite easy to find because you only need to find the sea and then follow the coastline.
