.. where Ikea eats buns for Pancake Day!

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

you may have heard, but it was the Pancake Day two weeks ago. I know! but i had to tell u about the Parade last week so i totally forgot about the Pancake Day, i’m afraid.. but the thing is, that in Estland, we don’t eat the pancakes as much. Instead, we have BUNS! well, i guess you already found that out last year..!

so, this year we were REALLY really exited when me and my friend Sipsik learned about Pancake-day-buns that my friend Heidi was going to bake! so we ordered some in advance. and guess what! they were really really good, actually. I especially liked the ones with berries inside. in fact, i liked the buns so much that i did not get a decent fotograf. but i have one, which is okay. but here’s only three buns left, so it must be afternoon already. so that’s probably why i look a bit tired..
also, i have to say i can’t tell you where they would be on my top 100 best things to eat list. because, u know, before i could think about that, the Teddies had eaten them all. So i guess now i need to wait for another year to  tell u exact spot. but fear not, they will be on the list, jei!

but what about you? did you bake pancakes this year? or did you go for the buns? let me know! have fun and cu l8r!

.. where Ikea is checking out the Parade

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

i guess u may have been wondering about me, yes? well, guess what! i have been to a military parade!! pst, it is a bit of a secret, so i can’t tell u much about it. and i only have one fotograf. and it is not very good one. but it has some military vehicles, so its fun all right, don’t you think? well, as a matter of fact, i now have to get back to some of my other secret stuff that i have been working on, so for all Estonians – happy Independence Day!

.. where Angel (ice-bear) meets ice figures

Hello folks! It’s me, Angel, here. Ikea is still busy doing other zings..
so, instead, me, an ice-bear. Luckily for me (and Ikea i guess) I have new Ice pics! As you may have read, ice is grand! So i read in the news about this grand park with ice figures, to check it out immediately. And what do i find! Very nice ice! Oh, and i took photos, as i said:

As you can see here, a hedgehog. Quite well crafted and recognizable in shape. Loooove the dots on the sides. Someone has stuck a coin on it’s forehead.. lame.

A wolf actually. Fishing – couldn’t tell, but i read it on the stand. I guess those on the side are fish-heads. Big ones! And mind you, it’s not a glow-wolf, there’s just a lamp behind it.

Magnificent fork! Reminds me of a sketch by Monty Python, also about a fork, evidently. I have yet to see a fork so massive though! Almost as high as a neighboring Opera house, as you can see!  Very well lit too! Did I mention there was a knife also? There was a knife also! (but smaller)

And here’s one of my favorites, a Bird! Ice Bird, not Larry or Angry or any of those. Could be an eagle though..

There were some others too, like a frog or averyniceblockofICE – at least that’s what it looked like. All very very much fun, so highly recommended to go and check it out. They are in Tammsaare park right now, but i suspect they might melt after a while. OR i might go and nick one or two.. Well, that DOES sound like a good plan, when I think about it..! So I have to go now then, best Fishes and stay cool!
