Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!
guess what! i heard from my friends in twitter that it was a fathers day recently? on Sunday, perhaps? so, i figured, for Sunday (sounds like Funday, don’t you think?) i would do something fun. Apparently, in Estonia fathers day is in November. so it seems to me that it was Fathers Day mostly for my friends in the U.S.A.? so, me and Saab figured we do something that is very much USA, fathery and edible (thats something u can eat. it was Saab who suggested that, but i was OK). So, we did – PANCAKES! jei!
As it turns out, pancakes are really good fun to bake, because: 1. it takes very little time 2. they are very tasty. So, we got this very special US pancake powder from this one store and made real US-style pancakes. apparently, the difference is in the fact that they are not thin (like crepes) but thick! and also u make them in stacks of 5, so they look nice (i’m not sure this is official rule, but it sounds reasonable). unfortunately i don’t have too many fotografs because Saab pretty much ate most of them (pancakes) before i could get the camera ready. Therefore, u can’t see Saab, really, on the photo here as he is muching on a pancake somewhere. so i have one fotograf that seems OK. Next time i will try to *not* to include Saab in the making of any sort of food because he clearly only has one thing in mind. I must admit that after all this pancake making, i am officially missing 3 spoons, 2 eggs, 2 litres of dishwashing liquid, 2,5 regular plates and one extra extra wide bowl. As well as one large box of tablets that go in dishwashing machine. Also, for some reason, for the past 2 days Saab refuses to leave the bathroom?
so, making pancakes is gr8 fun as well as eating them! as of right now, they totally make my 100 top things to eat list, hehe! Unfortunately we did not have any maple syrup, so need to get that next time. until then, have fun and cu l8r! also greetings to my friend Zack, he is a lot into cooking i hear!
