.. where Ikea plays hide-and-seek in Kadriorg

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!
u know, it seems to me that the autumn is here! in fact, it is quite obvious, because all leaves are not on the trees as usual, but on the ground! also, i have to point out that the leaves are no longer green. instead – they are ORANGE, my favorite colour! so, last weekend, i quickly persuaded Angel to conduct our bi-weekly hide-and-seek game in our park, Kadriorg. as it so happens, i took some fotografs!

..unfortunately, not from Angel. and u know why? because, we quickly learned that we can only play half of the game this time (and leave the other for later, when there is also snow).. for obvious reasons – it is totally easy to spot a great white Ice-bear in the orange leaves!!! so, we made a deal that this time, i will play “hide” and he will play “seek”. and we will switch next time, when the snow is here. it seems a fair enough deal to me. but of course, lots of fun, if u are an orange-yellow giraffe, like me, in the leaves:

i guess not so easy to find, i’m afraid! i have to say, it took Angel quite some time to spot me in these leaves. in fact, in this very spot, it took so long time for Angel to find me that it was already getting dark!!

as he later told me, he finally found me because of my white eyes. of course i didn’t tell him that earlier i had covered my eyes with a large maple leaf, hehe! but i didn’t want to stay in the park forever, so i removed it.
so, as it turns out, leaves can be a lot of fun also when they are not on the tree, don’t you think? either way, i have more fotografs of me hiding and my friend Sipsik gave me a great idea that you all could also try to find me – as it is not so easy! so, i will go and find some more fotografs from my game with Angel and then i will upload them on my Facebook photos for a little giraffe-spotting fun! (but it may take a little while, so check back later!) also, let me know any other good fun things to do with all these leaves- in comments! have fun and cu l8er!

.. where Ikea gets stuck on a boardwalk with Undu

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

u know what, it is still very very hot outside. in fact it is also hot inside! that’s why i will keep it very short today too. so we can go play beach volleyball with the teddies and Angel. Undu can’t play because of his sheep costume, i’m afraid, hehe.

so, what happened is that me, Undu and my friend Sipsik i went to this place called Luhasoo (a bog really). but u don’t have to walk in the mud, there is a a very nice hiking trail made of wooden boards that circle around the lakes in the middle. so, here’s me and Undu walking:

but apparently mr Busy Beaver had been working on the water levels, so right after we had this photograph taken, we got stuck somehow. as u can see from the pic now also, there is only water a bit further away. so, we had to go back instead of forward. of course, the best thing is that it was actually the wrong way, as we found out later! hehe! so, have to go now, but tell me if you have been getting stuck in a bog lately! thanks for stopping and cu l8r! have fun :)

.. where Ikea is having lots of fun :)

Hello there! It’s me Ikea!
well, it’s not the blog mystery that’s so fun as u might think. and i have to tell u it is quite mysterious and it might not be over yet! i have to keep an eye on Angel, he’s my prime suspect right now.. but, it has been quite a lot of fun happening other than blog mystery. for example, i was watching football!! not that i haven’t watched football before, but it was the oranges who played and won, jei!! here’s me and undu watching:

another fun thing i discovered is that with the twitter. for example if u use #NED there is a little flag of Netherlands! and when u use #worldcup then u can see a little ball!! very nice! !

but also, i was busy with some other fun things. for example, this other day i discovered this very long road:

it goes right into the sea, i’m afraid. with all this sun outside, of course i could not resist to do some sunbathing, hehe!

then, last weekend i was doing bag-hopping-on-a-stone! have u tried it? it looks pretty much like this:

it is very good fun and a little scary. especially if u are a giraffe, like me! u can do it on your own, but it usually helps if u have someone helping with the bag. because it CAN be a little heavy. u know, if there are books also inside the bag, for example. or other things.

also, u can do bag-hopping not only on stones, but pretty much everywhere u go. u know, it can get you very nice places! for example i got to this very very very nice place with all the wild strawberries!!!!

wohooo, i think wild strawberries are climbing right up into my top 100 best things to eat chart!! in fact, i am contemplating putting together an expedition to go wild strawberry-hunting in very near future. i know the teddies are in, not sure about undu. he’s not so much into vegetables, u know! but i have to convince him, he knows these woods and meadows inside out. also, he always has some fun story to tell!

so what’s up in your neck of woods? any wild strawberries by chance? let me know and cu l8r!!
