This is another really pretty place I managed to visit. It is called Orangerie Palace.
I have to say that the whole park around it is really nice and worth visiting. Also really close to here is a cache where I’m waiting for my new adventures!
Me and Douglas C-47 Skytrain
Here I am in the airport with the plane Douglas C-47 Skytrain. That’s the one that was used to get supplies to Berlin during the Berlin Blockade. Too bad that it was dark and the picture didn’t come out better.
Tempelhof Airport
This is one really cool place where I, Ikea, was able to go. It’s Tempelhof Airport. It ceased operating in 2008, but now it’s opened for people as a park. It is a really nice place for kite flying or just having a walk or barbecue. This airport also has a respective place in history – it was the only place during the Berlin Blockade where planes could land and deliver food and other supplies for people in Berlin.
