.. where Ikea has just arrived from..

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

guess what! i just arrived from fun vacation in warm places, jei! Turkey in fact!! I have a few gr8 fotografs from this trip. quite many, actually, so i will need some time to sort them out. also, i need some rest from the vacation, hehe! So stay tuned! until then, have fun and cu l8r!

ps. made some new friends in the airport – meet Bears from Antalya!

.. where Ikea finds sandcastles in Võru

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

guess what! i have been travelling to south-Estonia, jei! because it is warm in south, it seems to me. so, as i was walking in the park in Võru i saw some really fun things made from sand on the beach! apparently, they are called sandcastles! so, i took some fotografs:

a rectangular (Leenu tells me that it is called rectangular if it looks like a big box, just like the one that Angel likes to hide in) house with Estonian flag on top. it looks like the presidents castle in my home park, Kadriorg, but im not sure..

a round house. it looks pretty much like a tortoise to me, but the sign said it is a house. i personally would not like to live in a tortoise myself. but you can’t live in a house made of sand anyway, so i think it is okay..

it is Munamäe torn, hehe. i only know it because i have been to Munamäe tower. and the Big Egg Hill. but it is not as steep as this one, so u can go up easily. well, maybe not easily because it is quite hard if u run. but u don’t have to run, there are stairs too.

and this big house that looks like bunch of Angry Birds buried in the sand, hehe! my friend Sipsik tells me it is the opera house of Sydney, in Australia. well, i could not tell. there are no giraffes in Australia to ask from, i’m afraid. so i just have to believe her. anyways, the sandcastles are quite a bit fun, because they are smaller than real castles. and they are made out of sand, which is nice because u can do it on the beach, while sunbathing. or someone else can make them, while you are sunbathing, like happened to me. so, it is lots of fun!! i might even try to make some sandcastles myself next time, hehe! have u made any this summer? let me know and have fun! cu l8r!

.. where Ikea goes to Paide

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!

last week has beel lots of fun. because of midsummer night, u know. it’s a big party here in this neck of woods, hehe! this time however, lots of wind, so not too many bonfires, i’m afraid. so i did not take fotografs. but i did take some fotografs next day with lots of sunshine and warm wind! and geocaching too, jei! so, we went to this town called Paide, especially to the Castle area – you know, what’s left of it, because it was destroyed a few hundred years ago, really bad. so right now apparently they don’t use the stone for castles anymore, so they make statues instead. like this one:

it says many things on it, like belief, hope, love etc. but there are LOTS!

still, there’s some castle left, like this great big tower:

they say it used to be a cafe up there. not any more, i checked. not even for giraffes! that’s a pity. so u need to find other fun things to do. already told u about the statues, so another thing to do is to peek out of windows. like this:

well, they used to be windows. but u can still peek, that’s for sure. And u can play geocaching, as there is one cache which gets you doing lots of exploring in the area. Good fun!
There was another thing i was doing but that will be a secret for now! hehe! until then, let me know if u celebrate midsummer in your area? have fun and cu l8r!
