Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!
you don’t know what happened this one day! (i am going to tell u, in fact). so, last week, i had to go outside for some fun that i had in plan. im not sure what day it was, because, giraffes are not very good with their memory, u know. but i think it was friday? because most of the fun things i have planned for fridays. or mondays. so, it was either monday or friday. it was last week, that i know. so, i had to go out and then, come back. so when i came back, i had to go and ask if Angel was coming with me to do this other thing that is secret (of which i can’t exactly tell u right now). so what i discover in Angel’s room – a bed!! and more interestingly, a bed with a giraffe on it!!!!
i’d say this is a rather nice thing that can happen to you on friday, don’t u think? because, i can tell u one thing for sure – i did not assemble it this time. because i did not have any such manual. i have still not received any comments from teddies yet, but they are not much into beds these days, i’m afraid. so, it is quite mysterious how this bed got into Angels room in fact. Angel also says he does not know. he claims to have been playing hide-and-seek at the time. which is rather suspicious, as there were no-one else playing.
but, that’s not really important, i think. the best thing is, that there is a new bed with a giraffe on it in our home. i have tested it for some nights now, and it is really comfortable. even for giraffes, like me. it’s much bigger actually than necessary and my friend Sipsik says, it is not actually for me. perhaps we all need to fit in this new bed? it is actually quite possible, because so far, for example Undu has been sleeping in the bookshelf. and that’s not so comfortable, i can tell u! in fact, i have planned questioning my friend Sipsik in the matter of this bed and the giraffe, but i have been a little busy. so, until i find out, let me know if you have seen any gr8 things with a giraffe on it recently? perhaps u can even post some fotografs? let me know in comments!! tack! have fun and cu l8r!!

Hello there! It’s me, Ikea!
guess what! it’s been Christmas time! so, if u didn’t get the last post – Merry Christmas to you! so, for this Christmas, i decided to borrow my friend Sipsik’s Christmas-cookie-cutter. u know – because it is in the shape of a GIRAFFE!! that’s great! so, naturally, i had to make some giraffes!
oh, and did i tell u that i secretly also made one moose!? hehe..
i guess the hard part is getting the giraffes from after cutting to the pan. it’s because of my paws, u know. they are not very good for lifting thin sticky objects! in fact, i have to tell u that most giraffes don’t bake all that much. i guess that’s because so many are vegetarians. i am also vegetarian, but i also like some other stuff. like ice-cream, for example, hehe!
so, finally i got the giraffes lined up. this is the first patch. and here, they’re all here, little giraffes…!!!!
.. and me, ready for some fun sugar-coating with one of my favorite colours – yellow! it seems to me that decorating the christmas cookies is one of the most important things. because, u know, have u ever seen a giraffe with no eyes?? no fun having no eyes at all, i’m afraid.
So, afterwards, on the next fotograf you see how it looks pretty much. This fotograf is called “45+1 giraffes and a Moose”:
and in fact, it not just a fotograf, it is a puzzle! i have to tell u, it is quite fun – here’s the puzzle question: which giraffe is unique? hint-hint: it’s not me! so far, only Angel has figured out the right answer (but he had some computerized help, i think). so, let me know your answers in comments! so, have fun, and cu l8r! Guess what? I now have a new singnature item!! and it is not a giraffe, it’s SNAILs!
(well, that last one is not a snail, it is a mini geocoin with a cow on it, very nice!) normally, i would have taken giraffes as a singnature item, u know, but giraffes are really not so easy to find! especially here, in Estland. in fact, there is rarely ANY giraffes here at all (besides me) and even then, most of them live with us, in Kadriorg! which basically means that they don’t really have small giraffe figures available, i’m afraid. so, instead, my new signature items are SNAILs!
Signature items is something u put in every (most) caches that u find, when u go geocaching. me and my friends, we go geocaching quite often in fact, so it is great to have a signature item. that way everyone can see that u have been there. although, someone else can take it with them as well. so it really gets a bit complicated for a giraffe, like me. but it is good to have one. and i have SNAILs!
i know some fellow Estonian geocachers have LADYBUGs. they are really nice. but snails are quite fun too. i have some snail pals on twitter, so i know they are fun. although the signature items are just snail figures. they are not real snails, like the ones on twitter. this week in fact we have a plan to go geocaching with Undu. so we can test out these fun snails, jei! so i guess i’d better go packing right away. until then, let me know if u have a signature item and what it is! have fun and cu l8r!
