Sunbathing is one of my favorite things, as u might know. And it is always a gr8 thing to start off a trip with sunbathing, u know. Because then your trip is already a success and it even hasn’t really started. For exampel, i was already out on the sun deck before the boat left the port! gr8 success!
But, suddenly (i was still sunbathing at the time) i felt that someone is observing me. As it turned out, it was a Pig, peeking out of the cabin window:

hehe, a cheerful-looking pink fellow, don’t you think? :) he was, i’m afraid, a foreigner, because i could not understand a word he was saying. It sure wasn’t any of the languages that we, giraffes can speak. however, it sounded very much fun, so i could say we had a conversation. (a conversation is when two or more animals talk to each other, my friend Leenu says. It’s a lot like talking, but more interesting, but less fun). Except ours was fun too!
One thing that i did learn from mr Pig was that there could be more animals inside these cabins. So i wandered off to peek into windows. Quite soon i discovered one more foreign bird – a Duck of some kind!

We’ll, he looked like a duck to me, what do you think? Again, a foreigner with funny sounding language. It could be Chinese, even? It’s all quite mystery to me because there was no really good way to find out and my good friend Leenu who knows all these foreign words was not with me. We did have a fun conversation with additional making of funny faces, which we, giraffes are quite good at. Lot’s of fun, if you ask me, hehe!
I did not see any more animals in the windows after that, but i did see other ships. Unfortunately it was a bit too dark for my camera and those fotografs were not really good ones. And i did get a really nice fotograf of a ship on my way back!! But i will post it another time! hehe, i just read on my blog what Angel was saying about me being stuck in a car! Well, let me tell you something funny – i was *not* stuck in a car! Instead,  I went to this place called Kõrvemaa (not too far) to watch a running event (i like running a lot, as u might know). I also have a fotograf to prove this (see below). But of course then, i went to visit my friend, moose Aura, who lives in South-Estonia (i have no fotografs to prove this, i’m afraid). So, it was a bit of a detour, if u ask me. I guess u could say i was playing hide-and-seek..

Either way, i just wanted to make sure there was no confusion about it. Getting stuck in a car is still on my ‘to do’ list, hehe!

ps. I will post some more fotografs from my trip to Stockholm soon. But i still need get them from my friend Sipsik. And then there is this gr8 thing called sorting out the best ones, which can take A LOT of time! So, i’d better start right away. Until then, have fun and cu l8r!

guess what! i have been looking for the Internet the whole time. (Except of course also playing hide-and-seek, packing and other things.) But, I couldn’t find it. I mean, not in Stockholm. And not for free. And I have to tell u that the Internet on the boat is *very* sloooooooww.. So, it is not much fun, if u ask me!
But, as I was looking for the Internet – something good also happened! I found this Mr Jerry and Mr Ben, jei!

Right in the middle of Stockholm, Sverige! As u might think, we, giraffes are very much into ice-cream. So i tried out some flavors we don’t have in Estland. For exampel i tried Cherry Garcia with Oh My Apple Pie and a large wafer and it tasted gr8! So much fun eating B&J and sunbathing – my favorite! I have taken a bad fotograf with my phone – it’s true – see below! I tried to take a cone with seven scoops, but unfortunately we did not have enough Kronor for that. Maybe i will go back next week and try the other ones.. I will now go back and see if my friend Sipsik made any good fotografs for me to share with you next time. just a quick note that Ikea is not here today. The odds are that he is either stuck in a car or playing hide-and-seek. Also, it is quite possible that he is packing a bag to go on a trip! (Oh, it was supposed to be a secret, Teddies are telling) oh well. The thing is, that i could not find any cool pictures of me NOR ice nor even anything from Ikea. So instead, I am reposting this funny-looking guy from Latvia – Edgars. Hedgehog, as a matter of fact. Don’t you just smile when you look at him? A fun little fellow, eats apples and all.

hehe, well not the VERY BEST thing to eat (which is acacia leaves) but one of my favorite things to eat – ice-cream!! This time we found these very nice little cups of B&J! Yes, it’s Ben and Jerry’s! I found one with Apple Pie and it tastes gr8! It seems to me that it will probably take 3rd or maybe 4th place in my B&J top ten list. #1 right now is Strawberry Cheesecake. Giraffes like strawberries a lot, u know!

Angel had Cookie Dough. It’s with cookies, if u didn’t know. Well, actually not real cookies, just the thing that cookies are made of. It’s probably OK, too, but Angel liked it simply because it is mostly white. Like ice.. but u can guess what Angel likes best. No, it’s not Phish food… YES, Baked Alaska, hehe! I like B&J ice-creams a lot, u know. Because of the fun names!!

i guess u are wondering where I have been during the Easter? let me tell u – i got stuck in the snow!!

yes, that’s right. we got a very nice bunch of snow! in April! i can tell u, that it is not very common here in Estland to get snow in April. Especially here in the Kadriorg area. It’s because of the Sea – which is warm, my friend Lotte says. In fact, almost all snow had melted in last couple of weeks. So, over weekend a large bunch of snow came out of nowhere!! so i went to check it out and got stuck!! well, i wasn’t stuck for all weekend of course because my friend Tik (the Moon Rabbit) found me really fast and came to rescue. But of course, then we had to go and visit some of his Moon friends and help to find the chocolate eggs. I found one with the rabbit ears, hehe! so, in fact, i will go and check if there’s any more snow left, i can do last sledging of the year! maybe.. until then, let me know what kind of fun did u have over easter? have fun and cu l8r!

hehe, guess what! i followed the advice of my good friend @mooseherd and tried out this new thing called photocopying! i kind of liked the idea from the very beginning, because it starts with an “F”. kind of, don’t you think? so, because of the fun fotografs that Mooseherd had done, it definitely looked like a fun thing to do. The only problem, that we, giraffes have generally is that we *don’t* have many photocopiers. and, when u think about trying to have some fun fotocopying done, it can be a problem…
so, we had our eyes open for a few weeks in fact and finally we found one!! i can’t tell u where it was, i’m afraid, but it is in a secret location!! wohoo, i like secrets a lot, u know! so, me and Undu went to try this out. (I must say that Undu was – as i found out later – doing a little bit sheeping in the process, but luckily no-one found out. Until later of course, when I found out, but we agreed that we’ll keep it a secret as well, because it was in this very same secret location). so, we agreed that Undu will keep watch and I will try to work with the photocopier. It was gr8 success! i will only post this one fotograf, but i can tell u right now that there were more, hehe! but they will not be published. at least not for now anyways, hehe! – this is as much as i am allowed to tell u right now.. so, better get going, before i tell u too much.. have fun and cu l8r!!

guess what? last weekend something fun happened in Tallinn and it was called garage48. i have to say that we, giraffes, don’t know much about garages usually, but apparently it was not in a garage at all. in fact, it seemed like it was in a restaurant of some sort, if u ask me. but i know from my friend Angel (he knows these things) that this event was not about cooking, it was about music. and it was a hackatlon. i’m not exactly sure what it means, but it’s a lot like running, except instead of running you do programming. and some other fun things like marketing. and if you do it over 48 hours, that’s like a marathon running. i like running a lot, u know! but i can’t tell u for sure, because when i got there, most of this hackatlon-ing was already done!

instead, there were presentations. they call these presentations “demos” and apparently they (the teams) have 3 minutes to explain what they have been doing last 48 hours. and the best one gets a diploma. so it’s a lot like the Olympics. Except that u don’t need to do a presentation there, i’m afraid! so, as u can see i took a couple of fotografs only because later, when i was planning to make more the projects got very much fun.. so i didn’t! but check out the projects! my favorite is SongBoutique, because i have really been looking for a nice song to send my friend Sipsik for her birthday..

gr8 news! two gr8 news in fact!! first of all, best news EVER - Ikea the Giraffe Traveler was rediscovered and continues his journey in Hamburg! me and my friend Sipsik we were already a little bit worried, because there was no information about him for a while. I guess we can say he was lost! It’s not fun to be lost, if u ask me. Because my friend Angel told us a story about when he was lost in the snow once when he wanted to find out where snow ends. Apparently he went so far away that he did not find his way back in the snow and got lost! It was not fun because he had to walk around in circles and later had to spend the night in the woods with bunch of squirrels throwing fir cones at him. Because he’s white, u know. So, not gr8. Luckily he found his way back again in the morning!

But there is also second very good news! Ikea For the Fun reached New York (one of two destinations). In order to celebrate this, my friend Tik (moon rabbit) got two cans of coke that is from USA! It is called a Vanilla Coke! It has a vanilla taste, if u ask me, but it’s OK. Cheers! Now Ikea For the Fun has to find a way to Madagascar, somehow. Perhaps u can help? Are you geocaching perhaps?
